CT is short for Conspiracy Theory....I have an ongoing repeating dream that probably stems from watching too many mysteries on tv...consistently there are two interrogators that take an interest in my take on the CT, and for some reason, I am often just laying out what I think about it to them....maybe they want to know how much I know, and maybe I want to call them out, try to see if I'm right...since I started this little blog, I've been kinda waiting for the twins to show up, twins is what I call them...anyway,
In the dream I'm laying out the CT, much as a detective might lay out how a crime went down to a room full of suspects...'exposition[' I think this is called in novel writing....and the detective, of course, is trying to get a rise out of the prime suspects, who, in turn, are smug with the knowledge of what happened....so, after telling the CT to the twin Cs, who know everything there is to know about the CT, another character enters the room, neatly dressed in suit and tie, and takes a seat in a plush chair...I point to him and say, 'see, he's just like you'...and 'no', it's explained, 'he's a bondsman'...and they point to my left, and there I see a wide view of a room like the stock exchange...the man in the suit trades in bonds, I gather...
More on the CT when the twins show up again...maybe I can get a better angle on the CT and the twins...this little dream didn't have much happening...
That one can have a dream, recall it, have it repeat, and in some way prepare for the reoccurances, is very odd.
Also odd, which I gathered from the web last night, is that every major religion on the planet, has been rooted in some dream, or vision, and the religions often have instruction on how to interpret and respond to dreams. Dream study has a name, and a curio would be to know how formalized the study has been over the ages...brb...well, sheesh...'dream study' google search finds this:

This Web site contains everything needed to conduct scientific studies of dream meaning using a system of content analysis. For general information, follow one of the following three links:

But that's not what I was looking for, dream study has a name, begins with an 'o'...brb...oh...sheesh...here's a site with what my be part of the CT...notion is that the alien abduction reports are from folk who actually dreamed of such encounters...this to say it all happened in the realm of dreams, rather than the real world...msnbc picked this up...link:

brb..still looking for name...found it...here's wiki's take:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oneirology
wiki sites often have a 'see also' at the bottom of a discussion...this one has, see also 'the lathe of heaven', which made me sit up when I saw it years ago on tv...thought was, 'how'd that get on tv?'...aliens were very cool....wiki's take on the movie is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lathe_of_Heaven
I knew this, but didn't link it in my thoughts, the author, (whose father, if I remember right, wrote the book about Ishi), got the title from Taoism....read the take, it has good anecdote about the title!
Here's link to Ursula Le Guin's web site...splash page is very wowish...curious to see what sci fi writers think of wow...for sometime!
