Turned the tv on coming home tonight, a routine, it's on while I surf the web, or do my post ups, mail, and such...and on the tv is a movie called the watchman, I came in just before the cartoon, and had no idea...and then on the web I see the news....story from Bangkok of folk living in cement bridge parts stacked and waiting on that job...kinda like living in a honeycomb with no back or front walls...and the story before that was curious too...can't remember...and story of ballplayer kidnapped but rescued in Venezuela...oh...I glanced at the tv...way too violent!...click..oh...the first story on the web was about 'augmented reality'!!...'the merging of a computer generated world with the real world'...link:

anyway, I've been trying to get a handle on the dreams, and thought they are like crumpled up sunday newspaper comics...I can see bits and pieces...and I'm at a lost what to report, so interpolate...having seen and read comics, it's an educated guess, if comics can be regarded as educational!
and another thought has been that going into a dream is like going through a kaleidoscopic portal...understandable things and events from the real world fragment into pieces in the portal, and then get interpolated by the dream realm....and coming back from the dreams, the dreams go through the portal and the reverse happens....the dream realm is fragmented by the portal, and interpolated by the real world!....if the dream realm has sentient beings, I imagine they have has much trouble reporting my reality, as I do dreams!....oh..did a word search, and here's a manufacturer that makes a kalidiscope, and it's called, 'Portal' as it happens....link:

in a moment here, I'll look about for comics about dreams...
In WOW there are two warring factions, the alliance, and the horde....my dreams can be a bit nightmarish at time, too, and I've wondered how to report...well, I'll make the menacing things into comic characters and things, the horde...with that in mind...
In this first dream, I am presented with a short pipe that has inside it a technological break through...'just open the pipe', it's explained...two helpers appear, and while I and one helper hold one end, the other helper pulls on the pipe and stretches it out a long long way....the pipe gets thinner and thinner, and becomes transparent...inside is a glowing sorta blue sorta liquid sorta solid stuff that 'will solve the energy crisis' or something....the purpose of the stretching is to break the pipe, and free the stuff inside...this doesn't happen, I just the see the pipe with the blue in it....
Before the next dream, sorta, I saw very briefly like a letter of the alphabet elaborated in Celtic art fashion, which is to say like a drawing of a complex knot...
I think I may have dreamed more about the pipe, it seemed to be important, but I just couldn't focus...anyway, on to the next...
There's a long rectangular room, and in it, I have a space to lay out my things and a place to sleep...there are a few other people being accommodated...I leave the room briefly, and when I return, it is packed with people, all men, and sitting on furniture, the floor, wherever, and all upright...I plead that I just want a spot to stretch out and sleep...I go through a door, into a hallway...there are more rooms, some with bunk beds, and I'm told, 'this is for the women'...and I answer, I just want a place to sleep...and find another big empty room, like a banquet room, but with out tables, and I stretch out on the floor...it seems I'm at some resort...and outside, I'm seated at a long table, people on either side, like a picnic...and a horde character appears standing across from me...he removes a weapon form his belt...it's short and roundish, and his fingers are just stubs...he wants me to look at it, and I do just to have him move off, and he returns the weapon to his belt where it must snap on or something, as I saw no holster...and then he shows me a newspaper clipping with a photo of a man with a beard, asking if I know this man....and I say, 'yes, I saw this story in newspaper, he's a numbers man'....and I seem to know the man was killed, or captured..the horde man leaves....I tell the person next to me...'he was playing us, or something...' and that person agrees...I get up, and say I want to leave...my car is outside the resort, and I feel locked in, and again in the rooms, I meet a fellow in a suit, the resort manager I think, who I had seen before, and tell him, 'you have a nice place'...when in truth I think the place is a menacing place...a horde place...
A curio of wow, is that one can be an alliance character, or a horde character..'it's just a game', I've been counseled...one can be many things with one's avatars, though for the most part people...I've thought it would be fun to have a critter avatar or two....the whole game revolves around different conflicts between the alliance and the horde, and while the horde characters look like something out of zombie movies, they have their own honor and codes, and the whole thing is kinda like picking sides in the war between the states...
I've seen so many stories with good guys and bad guys, that there's just an endless supply of stuff for the dream realm to make dreams from that have the conflict of good versus evil...
cnn has show on again about kahn academy, which uses a level to level learning path...yes, well, players of wow chuckle at this...

There's more to that, but its gotten tougher to snag things from the web!..anyway, what I had in mind was the attention given to small details in poems in the modernist, if the 1920s or so can be considered modernist!, fashion...there's a bit by TS Eliot on the web about Blake and his minute particulars...let me see if wiki has a take....brb...Eliot's poems are glued together minute particulars of the sort I had in mind, and of course the famous poem, Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird...brb...hmmph, apparently in my equipage I've been hauling along a notion of minute particulars that's a little off, but something of it is in the technical jargon of the imagist and modernist poets and their poems, and here is link to wiki's take on Wallace Stevens' poem, which would have been a real marvel if he had just replaced Blackbird with Raven!!...hmmph...link:

and here one link to a comic book about dreams, called, The Dreaming....it's a popular subject of comics, it seems...link:
