Dream: I sight Hawk, to my left, far ahead on a Snag Tree. Nearer, I take a pic, but Branch is in the way, and I move back a bit, and take another pic, and check the lcd screen. Screens all black, and I check the exposure, and shutter speed, and then the icon dial--it's set to an icon I've never seen, looks like an o with a line. 'O for Oil' it's explained. I shrug, and turn the dial, but the icons are, well, dreamy, but Hawk has open wings and dives down into a Gully. I can't see, and go to the Gully Edge, and Hawk is trying to catch a Rabbit, succeeds, and flies to my left up the Gully. Rabbit escapes, and a chase ensues that brings Hawk and Rabbit right towards me, and I get what I think must be good pics, but I check the lcd screen, and the pics are still dark--oily.
I had two other dreams, one about a frustrating phone call with the cameraphone, and another about playing pool and wearing a pair of black rimmed glasses that had the left lens replaced with like a jeweler's eyepiece. Glasses look like the ones worn by the gnome. dwarf?, on the WOW flash page.
The Hawk dream, and the setting, a kinda wild life park with benches and such, is a repeater, and the park part usually proceeded by waitng at bus stops and riding buses.
Oh, in the Hawk dream, when I looked in the Gully, the whole scene tilted like in wow. One holds the mouse down, and can rotate and tilt the scene. I dont know if my dream maker is mimicking wow, or uses the same computer tricks. And I'm not sure what a dream maker is, but need a word to describe the media techniques dreams use, or something.
At work, half teasing, I said, "Imagine you are a sentient wow character, and at the Scarlet Monastery reading the Creation text. Have you any idea that it is complete bs!?' This garnered a smile, and a question from one friend to my other friend who introduced me to the game, "See? See what you've done?"
Well, actually, the film Forbidden Planet did it. I've been curious about what the Krell are up to for a very long time!!
