Dream: I've sighted Bobcat on a Knoll, covered with Brown and Gold Grasses, and reach for my Camera Pouch--I dont have my Cameras with!...and I begin to run to get my Cameras, or try to run, and, well, I run, but my stride is very short, and labor some, but I reach a Country Lane, like a veryvery small Town, and I run to the House on the End, a Small Wooden House, with Yellow Clapboard siding, and I think this is a nice House and Place were I live, and I wake up. theend
I started playing World of Warcraft, WOW, just a couple months ago, and it immediately just sorta took over my dreams. Tonight, I found a thread about dreaming about wow at the wow forum, and read the posts. I've been hesitant to ask friends if they have wow dreams, as the dreams are of interest!! The wow thread, which I'll link and discuss more sometime, looks a bit fabricated, but it's out on the web, and seeing it has encouraged me to start this blog. Why hesitate?, one may ask. It's not hesitation, it's being circumspect.
The Dream above, which is only an approximation, dream recollection being problematic!, is from last night. I photograph Wildlife in a close to Wilderness setting, where I live. This I've done seriously for almost five years, and often dream of this effort. I'm not sure 'dream' is an adequate word! While asleep, I glimpse an effort to take pics that has the same characteristics as my efforts to take pics while awake.
And when I began playing wow, and dreaming of wow, I find I glimpse the same characteristics. 'reaching for my camera pouch' is a characteristic.
Only partly joking, I told a friend, 'I've figured out the Ancient Egyptian monuments, paintings, and lore....the Egyptians were playing an online game like wow...'
In a wow quest, sometimes an enemy casts a spell called 'fear', and one finds one's avatar spun around, with all their spells blocked, running away, with sluggish steps, holding their head....
Sluggish running is a dream characteristic--and while awake too on snow, in rivers, and on gravel beaches!
